Quality Assurance Analyst (@Remote, Chile)The QA department drives the overall quality of all OfferUp products and services. You will work with an existing QA team, deeply embedded with our Product and Engineering teams, to help take quality to the next level.
We are looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst/Engineer to help shift the quality left and build a mindset of quality in every team, advocating for and driving quality in design and development not just at the feature testing or integration stage.

Here's more of what you will get to do: Define, build, and execute integration and regression tests for our features and servicesChampion a high level of quality across our large-scale software applications, systems, platforms, services, and technologies of all OfferUp ProductsWork independently on complex QA tasks requiring planning, scheduling, and testing where a variety of factors may impact results in a fast-moving start-up environmentInform, prioritize, and work with our SDETs to improve automated testingExcellent communication skills both written and spoken (fluency in English required)You'll thrive in this role if you have: 3+ years of experience as a QA Analyst / QA Engineer 3+ years performing functional, integration, regression and performance testingKnowledge of QA Methodology and toolsExperience gathering test requirements and creating detailed test plans Experience working directly with engineering teams to provide quality supportExperience in Mobile app & Web testing.ISTQB certificationsExperience with Agile development methodologiesBS in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent experienceAbout OfferUp: OfferUp is the largest mobile marketplace for local buyers and sellers in the U.S. We are changing the way people buy and sell in their communities by providing a uniquely simple and trusted experience on our iOS and Android apps.
