About the RoleThe Retail Team Leader will lead a team of Key Account Managers (KAMs) and Sellers, passionate about encouraging relationships with merchants in the retail and specialty food sectors, among others. The primary objective is to increase sales by implementing the Retail strategy in Chile, ensuring balanced growth, improved quality, and profitability. Also is responsible to maintain an adequate Sales, managed and unmanaged account operation and boost the team!
What You'll DoLeadership and Decision-Making:Lead a team of Key Account Managers (KAMs) and Sellers in the non-groceries sector-Provide mentorship, advice, and make informed decisions to drive team success.Retail Strategy and Analytical Execution:Develop and implement the Retail strategy in the Chilean region.Find opportunities and challenges, employing an analytical mentality to seek and implement effective solutions.Area Growth and Profitability:Ensure continuous growth, enhanced quality, and improved profitability in the designated area.Use reports and tools to maintain visibility and make data-driven decisions.Strategic Merchant Relationships:Foster cooperative and growing relationships with key strategic merchants.Maintain positive relationships to contribute to the overall success of the area.What You'll NeedSales management: Experience in leading high successful KAM and sales teamCustomer-centric: Able to get along with customers and mentor team towards a consultative approach7+ years of Sales experience, preferably within Retail Ecosystem5+ years of Sales Management experienceCreative storyteller with the ability to apply data to quantify opportunities and influence decision-makersEnglish and Spanish professional proficiencyStrong use of insights and quantitative decision-making to advise the sales processAbility to problem tackle, adapt, and grow quickly as we build the sales organizationExcellent coaching, writing, discovery and presentation skillsWe welcome people from all backgrounds who seek the opportunity to help build a future where everyone and everything can move independently.
