The RoleThe Monklands Replacement Project (MRP) team are responsible for delivering a new state of the art acute hospital on behalf of NHS Lanarkshire.
You will therefore work with both internal and external stakeholders in the delivery of key programme milestones and agreed outcomes.
The MRP FM Lead will be responsible for supporting the MRP Project Management Team to provide a comprehensive, professional and multi-disciplined project management service that supports successful delivery of the Monklands Replacement Project.
This role is focussed on the delivery of the Soft FM (Facilities Management) Services and Systems Provision and the post holder will be required to manage multiple complex work packages.
FM is a key function of the Property Support Services Division (PSSD) across NHS Lanarkshire providing services such as Domestics, Catering, Portering, Waste, Helpdesk, Switchboard, Linen, Transport and Maintenance.
You will report to the Commissioning and Migration Manager, but will also take direction from the wider project senior team.
What we'll need you to bringEducated to degree level or equivalent experienceHave excellent soft skills, particularly in terms of communication, together with good presentation skillsHave Leadership skills to enable and support successful implementation of changes in working practices, monitor the delivery and implementation of these changesHave the ability to meet the challenging requirements of changing technologyHave good interpersonal skills and ability to present complex data in understandable terms suitable for managers, staff and service users who may be resistant to changeHave experience in the use of Microsoft Project or similar package and be computer literateHave strong negotiating and influencing skills combined with the ability to analyse and interpret multi-faceted complex reports, providing recommendations are an essential post holder requirementHave knowledge and experience of operational FM service delivery to develop service specific training packages and to present training as required to staffCommunication and presentation skills to be able to represent the Project in meetings/presentations to the public, staff and other internal and external stakeholders where appropriateBe able to understand, interpret and deal with complex sensitive data and information during liaison with other NHS Lanarkshire wide and external stakeholders such as external advisors, the general public, local authorities and NHS Assure, respecting confidentiality of sensitive information and the ability to communicate this in a clear manner with tact and diplomacy is importantHold a full valid driving licencePlease note for all vacancies where a driving licence is required this must be a full UK/EU/EEA licence. The working pattern for this role is Monday - Thursday 9-5pm, Friday 9-4.30pm
