Application Developer - Career

Application Developer should be passionate about technology, given it needs to be learning and improving our systems and platforms daily.

Considering we are working in distributed teams between United States and Chile to perform research and development on how to improve our analytical assets in USA, Canada and recently Australia, the Application Developer should have an intermediate/high English language level.


RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and implementation of technical requirements by Big Data technology uses
Propose improvements and new solutions to any challenge related with Big Data area
Analysis on technical requirement related with Data Exchange area in USA, Canada and Australia
Apply development activities including unit test and technical documentation
Attend all the meeting scheduled, having a high participation.
Have a continuous improvement in technical skills participating in mentoring activities given by the Santiago Development Center.


QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Completed College Degree in IT Computer Science
+3 year of experience developing with Java and/or Hadoop technologies.
Upper Intermediate English level required
Have knowledge in any of the next technologies: Object Oriented Programming, Java, Scala, Python, SQL, Distributed systems, intermediate/high English level, Spring framework (Batch, Integration and XD), Apache technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Kafka)
Knowledge on descriptive and inferential statistical theory, data mining, model creation
Knowledge on data visualization
Effective team player
Strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
Good organizational skills with the ability to adapt and adjust to changing priorities
Positive attitude and the ability to work well with others
