Responsibilities:• Structure and manage the business in relevant markets so that the mission of Financial Solutions is carried out in line with Division and Group objectives.
Focus is on business activities that add value to the Epiroc Group.• Ensure products and services offered are in accordance with specific objectives to support achievement of the Group profitability and volume targets.• Collaborate with the Customer Centers / Divisions to synchronize the development of the Financial Solutions business.• Define a business plan for the market, execute and follow-up that agreed activities are followed through.
Accountable for setting and delivering targets.
Assure the stability and profitability and compliance of the Financial Solutions business within the established structure.• Prepare financial proposals, structure and present credit applications to the credit committee, prepare credit documentation, follow up on & manage the portfolio including delinquent accounts.• Responsible for the finance portfolio when transactions enter into a collection and/or legal status.
Coordinate efforts and be the main point of contact to ensure successful conclusion.• Lead the business in line with Epiroc values, culture, and beliefs.
Safeguard an efficient business structure that delivers "best in class" service to Customer Centers / Divisions.• Liaise with external financing partners enabling off-balance sheet structures when needed.• Promote transparency in facts and figures to ensure a decision process based on adequate and objective information.• Liaise with colleagues to share and promote best practices and support cross-functional activities within the organization.• Be part of the global Epiroc Financial Solutions Team and report to the Vice President.
Your profile:
• Experience in equipment finance with a proven record of building sound business relationships and creating lasting results.• Understanding of the entire finance process involved when structuring equipment financing transactions, including credit insurance, and appreciation for all steps in the contract life cycle.• In-depth knowledge and experience of the Chilean/LATAM customer finance market is considered an asset.• Ability to read and analyze financial statements as well as commercial credit bureau reports.• Knowledge of various types of financing offerings such as Loans, Financial Leases, Operating Leases, and Floor plans.• A bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or the equivalent is preferred.
