Responsibilities:
As a Cloud Operations Engineer, you will work on automating and operating IT systems architectures for relevant companies with business-critical systems, providing cloud solutions and developing useful DevOps automation tools.
- 1 to 5 years of experience in customer-facing projects and troubleshooting with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience with developing and maintaining technical solutions in virtualized environments.
- Experience in IT.
- Experience working in a cloud computing (Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)
environment (e.g., infrastructure, storage, platforms, and/or data).
Preferred qualifications:
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Experience with infrastructure monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK stack).
- Technical Leadership.
- Knowledge of network protocols and security fundamentals.
- Experience with or interest in multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or other similar tools.
- Relevant certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect) and Linux Foundation certifications considered a plus.
- Expertise with CI/CD tools such as Cloud Build, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar.
- Experience monitoring applications and infrastructure health, and applying recommendations to maintain a stable system.
Requirements:
- Manage cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Optimize cloud resources for cost efficiency and scalability.
- Implement security best practices for cloud environments,
including identity and access management (IAM) and data encryption.
- Develop and maintain monitoring solutions to track system performance, availability, and reliability.
- Configure logging frameworks to collect, analyze, and visualize system logs for troubleshooting and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with security teams to implement security controls and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
- Ability to diagnose and resolve issues related to OpenShift clusters, applications, and underlying infrastructure.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting networking, storage, and performance-related issues in VM or Kubernetes environments.
- Utilize infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation,
or Ansible to automate provisioning and configuration management.
- Understand customer needs, help shape long-term product strategy, and share your knowledge and skills with the team.
