Description
GE Vernova's Gas Power business engineers advanced, efficient natural gas-powered technologies and services, along with decarbonization solutions that aim to help electrify a lower carbon future.
As part of the Gas Power One Field Services team, FieldCore installs, maintains, and upgrades power generation equipment, enabling operators of the world's energy infrastructure to provide more reliable and affordable energy.
Job Summary
The Tooling Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining, coordinating, updating records, visual inspections, and coordinating shipping to the tooling warehouse.
The Tooling Coordinator will update company databases to ensure accurate materials and tooling status.
Additional duties may be assigned to align with FieldCore's vision and organizational values.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Track tooling and calibration work orders that are open and need processing.
Track shipments sent to customers/Field Service Representatives for repairs and tools being retuned for calibration.
Maintain inventory of supplies and ensure each kit has the proper quantity and tools.
Update records of tools that have been calibrated or need calibration.
When new tools are purchased, add them to the database.
Coordinate and package supplies needed for outages.
Monitor each kit before shipping to ensure inclusion of kit templates and calibration certificates.
Issue purchase orders to vendors when stock is depleted to maintain inventory.
Maintain warranty records and coordinate replacements within warranty periods.
Coordinate shipping of parts with Service Managers to ensure timely delivery and repairs.
Perform visual inspections of specialized kits from sites and replace parts as needed.
Follow and update Field Service Tooling procedures to ensure compliance.
Submit billing reports.
Maintain warehouse housekeeping to meet EHS standards.
Meet or exceed customer delivery dates for kits.
Create and manage purchase orders for kit parts.
Stock tools and parts to meet site-specific requirements.
Ensure timely delivery of kits with no quality issues.
Perform other duties as assigned, including travel and working holidays, weekends, and overtime as required.
Required Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree or 2 years of experience in a sourcing-related role, or High School Diploma with 5 years of logistics planning and execution experience.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals.
