Perform general maintenance work and identify the best way to troubleshoot issues.Support in reviewing contracted services, guaranteeing their implementation (cleaning, fumigation and any work contracted from Facilities Services).Support in the compliance of Facilities Services standards on the premises.Support handling possible changes of workstation sites, with the necessary movement of furniture.
Manage office layouts and changes.Inventory control.Review processes and procedures for the area.
Drafting reports.Support in the management of communications with building management.Support in the review of any general contracted service offered on the premises (cleaning, lighting, stationery, insurance, lease, etc.
).Assistance in the logistics and organization of the Annual Commencement Ceremony and any other events organized by MIU at external venues.All other duties that require support, related to the Facilities Services Department.RequirementsExperience in maintenance service.Bachelor's Degree or equivalentFluent in English and Spanish.Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PPT).Additional languages are a PLUS.Attention to detail, ability to prioritize tasks and follow instructions.PreferredKnowledge of:Electricity.Carpentry.Plumbing.Painting.Air conditioning.Furniture maintenance.Locksmith maintenance.ScheduleImmediate availabilityBilingual English/SpanishWork permit in USAOffice in downtown MiamiMon to Fri, 8 am to 5 pmOn-site job on our campus: 111 NE 1st ST, 6th Floor, Miami, FL 33132
