Las Campanas Observatory (LCO) of Carnegie Institution for Science, a world-class astronomy institution, is seeking:IT SOFTWARE ENGINEERThe Software Engineer is responsible for the design, development and maintenance of the operational software required by the various departments of LCO.Duties and Responsibilities:Analyze, design, test and develop web applications that meet LCO's operational requirements using Django and Django REST Framework.Document every aspect of the reference systems or applications for future upgrades or maintenance.Support operations software developed in Python, TCL/TK, C/C++.Troubleshoot and follow up on operations software issues.
