Job Description:As a Manager in Content Moderation for our Client, you will oversee a team of moderators ensuring platform compliance, user safety, and adherence to content guidelines and policies.
Your leadership will play a critical role in maintaining Client's reputation as a safe and secure environment for creators and users.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership and Management:Supervise and mentor a teamof content moderators to meet performance standards
Conduct regularperformance reviews, provide feedback,and implement development plans
Facilitate team meetings todiscuss updates, challenges, and best practicesContent Review:Monitor flagged contentto ensure compliance with Client's community guidelines and policies
Identify and escalate critical content issues or trendsto higher management promptlyPolicy Implementation:Ensure the team is updated on thelatest content guidelines and moderation policies
Act as the point of contact for clarification and interpretation of policiesOperational Efficiency:Monitor workflowto ensure tasks are completed within set turnaround times
Usedata-driven insightsto optimize team productivity and decision-making processes
Coordinate with cross-functional teams for process improvements and updatesReporting and Insights:Generate and analyze reports onteam performance, content trends, and flagged issues
Provide actionable recommendations toimprove moderation strategiesand enhance platform safetyQualifications:Qualifications:
Experience:Minimum 3-5 years in content moderation, with at least 2-3 years in a management role
Experience in moderating sensitive or explicit content is highly preferredSkills:Strong leadership and people management skills
Excellent decision-making abilities with a focus on detail and accuracy
Familiarity with online community management tools and moderation systems
Strong analytical and reporting skills, with proficiency in tools like Excel or dashboards
Knowledge of regional and global content compliance and regulationsPersonal Attributes:Ability to work in a high-pressure environment while maintaining professionalism
Empathy and cultural sensitivity, especially while handling diverse content
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challengesWork Environment:
Ability to handle exposure to sensitive or explicit content as part of the job.
