About the Role This role is part of a Global Talent Acquisition team.
The main purpose is to attract, assess and secure top-tier executive talent that aligns with BHP's strategic priorities, culture and leadership needs ensuring sustainable business performance and future growth.
The TA Executive will provide expertise in sourcing and talent acquisition activities associated with Executive roles that strengthen the capability and culture at BHP.
Some of the accountabilities are: Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, providing data-driven insights on executive hiring trends and talent availability.
Partner with senior leaders and HR Business Partnership, to provide expert advice on executive sourcing strategies including selection methods, executive talent mapping/pooling, shortlisting approaches and hiring decisions.
Identify and build external global talent maps for Executive key roles, where no internal successor has been identified for business-critical roles.
Build and maintain strong relationships with executive candidates, ensuring seamless high-touch candidate care.
Develop and execute targeted executive search strategies that aligns with the BHP's long-term talent needs, including leveraging networks, market mapping and executive search firms.
Lead negotiations with executives, ensuring competitive and market-aligned compensation and benefit packages.
Navigate complex contract terms, including equity, incentive and relocation considerations as part of offer and onboarding.
Develop and manage strategic relationships with external search firms to enhance access to top-tier leadership talent.
Maintain oversight of search firm processes and quality of candidates ensuring transparency, compliance and cost effectiveness.
Position the organization as an 'employer of choice' through compelling EVP messaging and executive engagement.
Drive continuous improvement processes to enhance the executive hiring experience and efficiency.
Embed inclusive hiring practices, reflective of BHP values and DE&I practices enhancing leadership diversity and representation.
About You Pivotal and key experiences for the role: Managing End-to-End Executive Search Processes: Lead complex and global executive searches, by successfully managing end to end executive search processes, including engaging senior stakeholders, securing top tier talent in competitive markets and supporting hiring decisions.
Building and Executing Recruitment Strategies: through understanding internal talent availability and external executive talent pipelines, proactively identifying future leadership gaps and implementing external succession mapping where no internal successor exists.
Partnering with Senior Leaders and HRBP: acting as a trusted advisor aligning executive hiring strategies with business objectives and navigating complex governance and decision making.
Optimizing Executive Search Partnerships: by establishing strong relationships with external search firms, defining SLA's, ensuring high-quality candidate experiences and driving cost-effective strategic hiring solutions.
Understanding the HR Value Chain; including roles and responsibilities within executive talent acquisition, enabling seamless integration of processes and ensuring alignment with strategic business needs.
Bi-lingual fluency (written & spoken) in Spanish and English are required.
