Your role and responsibilities This role is responsible for ensuring that security services meet the agreed-upon IBM contract scope with clients, supervising the delivery on a daily basis.
In addition, it is responsible for quality standards, prioritizing and managing operational requirements, and addressing operational issues.
The Security Account Manager acts as the bridge between IBM and the client, ensuring that services are delivered effectively, issues are addressed promptly, and continuous improvements are made to the service offering.
This role should have experience leading cybersecurity services teams, Security Operations Centers (SOC), and working with third-party vendors.
Required education Bachelor's Degree Required technical and professional expertise Service Delivery Management: Ability to oversee and manage the end-to-end service delivery of security services, ensuring that all aspects of the service are effectively executed.
Performance Metrics & Reporting: Ability to track, analyze, and report on service performance metrics, including security operations KPIs, SLAs, and customer satisfaction metrics.
Skilled in generating regular service reports.
Vendor Management: Experience working with third-party vendors and partners, including managing relationships, coordinating service delivery, and ensuring vendors meet their contractual obligations.
Preferred technical and professional experience Client Relationship Management: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with clients, understand their needs, and ensure their satisfaction.
Ability to communicate complex technical information in a way that is understandable for non-technical stakeholders.
Leadership and Influence: Ability to lead teams, influence decision-making, and guide clients and internal teams in the right direction while ensuring that service quality is maintained.
Security Knowledge & Practices: Strong understanding of IT security concepts, frameworks, and best practices (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS, etc.).
Familiarity with security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), anti-virus, encryption, SIEM (Security Information and Event Management), endpoint protection, etc.
