IntroductionIn this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world.
Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
Your role and responsibilitiesAs an Enterprise Architect specializing in Hybrid Multicloud Platforms, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing complex IT systems that integrate seamlessly across diverse cloud environments (public, private, and edge).
Your primary role is to ensure the organization's technology strategy aligns with business objectives, while mitigating risks and maximizing return on investment.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain a comprehensive Enterprise Architecture framework for hybrid multicloud environments, ensuring it aligns with the organization's strategic goals.Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of our multicloud infrastructure, focusing on security, performance, scalability, and cost optimization.Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.Provide expert guidance on emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in the multicloud space.Manage relationships with cloud service providers and vendors to ensure optimal service level agreements (SLAs) and pricing.Oversee the migration of on-premises infrastructure to the multicloud, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.Define and enforce architectural standards and guidelines, ensuring compliance across all platforms.Conduct regular architecture reviews and audits to identify potential improvements and risks.Build and maintain strong relationships with key IT teams, including development, security, operations, and data management.Stay updated with industry regulations, standards, and emerging technologies to inform strategy and decision-making.Required technical and professional expertiseProven experience as an Enterprise Architect or similar role, with a focus on multicloud environments.In-depth knowledge of various cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.
).Strong understanding of IT infrastructure services, including networking, storage, compute, databases, and security services.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders at all levels.Problem-solving attitude, with the ability to think strategically and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Experience with DevOps culture, Agile methodologies, and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.IBM is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
