Opportunity As a Senior SAP MM Specialist, you will be responsible for the successful implementation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP MM solutions.
This role requires deep technical expertise in SAP MM and the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders to optimize procurement and warehouse processes.

You will play a key role in the Information Systems organization, working closely with business decision-makers and end users to analyze requirements, map them to SAP business processes, and drive process improvements and harmonization across global operations.
This role reports to the SAP MM Team Lead.

Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & StrategyIdentify and assess complex business requirements related to materials management and procurement.Ensure alignment between SAP MM solutions and business goals across global operations.Act as a key liaison between supply chain, procurement, and IT teams.SAP MM Configuration & OptimizationLead the configuration and optimization of SAP MM modules to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Manage troubleshooting and issue resolution related to SAP MM functionality and integrations.Ensure system stability and performance through continuous monitoring and improvements.Global Harmonization of SAP MM SolutionsDevelop solutions that drive the adoption of standardized processes across global sites.Balance global consistency with local compliance and jurisdictional requirements.Negotiate agreements to harmonize SAP MM processes across regions.Process Improvement & Best PracticesAnalyze business processes and identify opportunities for optimization using SAP MM functionalities.Implement best practices in procurement, inventory management, and material planning.Ensure data accuracy and governance across SAP MM transactions.Communication & CollaborationCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth data flow across upstream and downstream processes.Provide leadership in cross-team discussions and alignment efforts.Training & DocumentationDevelop and deliver training for end-users, key stakeholders, and IS teams.Maintain up-to-date user manuals, configuration guides, and technical documentation.Continuous Learning & InnovationStay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging SAP technologies.Proactively identify and implement new solutions and innovations in SAP MM.Required Profile Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.SAP MM Certification required.10+ years of expert knowledge in SAP S/4HANA MM and Fiori Apps.Experience in at least 3 full-cycle SAP implementations.Exposure to COUPA source-to-pay processes and its integration with SAP S/4HANA.Strong understanding of SAP MM integration with other modules, particularly FI-CO, EAM (PM), and PS.Experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing SAP MM solutions to improve procurement and material management.Expertise in configuring and maintaining SAP MM system settings, including:Consumption-based planning (MRP)Goods receipt processing (GR/IR)Logistics invoice verificationStock transfers (inter- and intra-company)Inventory management and reportingSkills & Competencies:Problem-Solving & Continuous ImprovementAbility to develop and execute test plans to ensure SAP system changes meet quality standards.Strong experience in hybrid models of project delivery and ongoing support.Collaboration & Stakeholder ManagementStrong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.Experience in a global, cross-cultural work environment.Required availability to work in the office 4 days a week.Preferred QualificationsExperience mentoring and coaching teams.Strong communication and presentation skills.Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITIL).Commitment to Inclusion & DiversityAt Glencore Copper, we are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment, ensuring compliance with local regulations: In Chile: Law No.
