In 2021, Littelfuse had net sales of $2.1 billion.Field Applications EngineerWe are looking for a Field Applications Engineer to be responsible for working with builders, owners, operators, and repair personnel to service and support the installation of the Integrated Solutions products & platforms. This support is for the design, layout, installation, and training of the products and platforms which can be over the phone, internet or onsite to ensure customer satisfaction goals are met. Assist in growing the technology platform market share through various initiatives including sales calls, customer service and support, trade shows, presentations, and additional sales/marketing-related activities. This position must interface with all Littelfuse departments to ensure brand and product integrity.About the Job:- Interface with management, engineering, test, and production departments.- Work with customers and engineering on technical concerns and product updates.- Provide service & support for builders, owners, and operators.- Design & program configuration software for HMI and devices.- Provide Monthly Reports (service log) and Call Reports for service calls.- Assist with the preparation of technical & marketing materials.- Develop and deliver technical presentations and advice.- Travel to vessel/vehicle locations, to service systems or products.- Troubleshoot networks and devices.- Nothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities at any time.About you:- Knowledge of marine & transportation electrical systems including but not limited to power distribution & monitoring, human-machine interface, vessel/vehicle production and layouts.- Technical degree and 3 years relevant work experience.- Understanding of marine networking standards, particularly NMEA2000, as well as product certifications and standards such as Lloyds, CE, NMEA, ABYC and others.- Ability to follow directions, understand time management and work with limited supervision.- Must be willing to travel extensively, international & domestic.- Ability to read, analyze and interpret drawings/schematics.- Excellent teamwork skills.- Must be flexible, well organized and maintain a positive attitude.- Proof of vaccination against COVID-19 is required for this specific position due to the nature of the work and the requirement for onsite customer visits.Littelfuse strives to empower associate growth and development in a culture of ongoing collaboration and respect for diverse global perspectives and expertise.
