**ABOUT UNILODE****POSITION OVERVIEW**Our Inspectors ensure that repair operations are conducted in accordance with pertinent FAA regulations, Unilode's Quality Manual/Procedures, customer air carrier requirements and provides the final airworthiness determination.**GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES**- Ensure all articles delivered and maintained by the repair station are properly recorded and staged from receipt to delivery in their airworthy/serviceable condition.- Perform and have oversight of inspection activity.- Ensure compliance with pertinent FAA regulations, manufacturer's technical data/approved supplements, RSM/QCM and customer requirements.- Report all quality related issues to management.- Ensure accurate and timely creation of work orders.- Conduct preliminary, hidden damage, in-progress and final inspections/RTS of aircraft articles processed by the repair station (as authorized) and assuring proper recording of results.- Perform repairs when necessary.**QUALIFICATIONS**- 1+ years practical experience in aviation maintenance required.- Excellent communication skills including written and oral in English.- Ability to make quality decisions and effectively solve problems.- Possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently.- Ability to interface with computers.- Ability to read technical publications and drawings
