POSITION PURPOSE**Main role responsibilities**:Responsible to manage LATAM region system standards, accesses policies and controls, communications, infrastructure, and databases.This role leads a multi-disciplinary regional team and vendors representing infrastructure disciplines including Data Center, Engineering, Telecommunications, Midrange/Mainframe, Distributed Systems, Information Security, End User Technologies, Service Management, Help Desk, and Service Quality that support businesses at the local and regional level. Leadership and Strategic Management:**Roles and responsibilities**:Develop primary infrastructure goals, operating plans, policies, short-term objectives, and strategies for infrastructure issues.Lead transformational change within infrastructure technologies that reshape the business and contribute to significant growth.Lead the integration and consolidation of infrastructure from acquired companies or divestitures resulting in a single enterprise IT infrastructure group with adherence to common processes, governance, and architectural standards.Work together with regional and global IT Management to influence the business from a technology perspective to help the business unit create new revenue streams, thereby improving customer competitiveness.Work alongside IT Management in a consultative manner with department heads, advising on technologies that can improve their efficiency and effectiveness.Manage all operational aspects of IT infrastructure services, both with the global data center provider and in-country.Provide local support to the production environments of Infrastructure Technologies 7x24.
