The Principal Project Delivery is senior role in the SCU Program and will be pivotal for the success of the planning and execution of the SCU Program. This role integrates interfaces, plans and risk from different projects and non-projects sub-functions into our collaborators, contractors and Owner Team Support teams in accordance with the SCU Program strategies. This role is also key for the success of key interfaces with our Operations clients ensuring value/risk based decision making are occurring.This role leads, enrols and influences teams to be focussed on safety, execution plans, execution - construction strategies, standards - frameworks and integration and interface management across the projects lifecycle to ensure delivery in line with the approved program objectives. This role ensures leadership, optimised strategies, fit-for-purpose plans and rigours risk mgt leveraged by BOS excellence, processes, and tools.Reporting to the Area Manager SCU Program, this is a senior & critical role within the SCU Program with a key focus on integrating with Functions and Operations to align our program delivery strategic direction and enablers to ensure a safe, efficient and sustainable delivery of the SCU Program.This role is based in Santiago with permanent site travel to Spence and offers flexible work arrangements.**About the Role**:In this role you will:- Strive to achieve Cero Incident, 100% safety, 100% BOS customer value and 0% waste.- Be accountable for HSE compliance and applies appropriate methodologies/standards to deliver effective construction projects across BHP.- Manage contracts execution and analysis to maximise operational and financial performance and mitigate exposure and risk.- Define project objectives/schedules, identifies critical activities, monitors the project plan/schedule and drives continuous improvement initiatives across projects at BHP.- Monitor and manage project performance to deliver projects in line with safety standards, requirements, budget and scope.- Develop integrated project deliverables and integrate project work across projects through interfacing with stakeholders and managing the successful transition of project/phase closure.- Follow risk management processes, conducts risk assessments, complies with standards and accurately reports on risk to maximise safety and value across projects at BHP.- Develop and implements project turnover processes and executes commissioning/handover activities to facilitate the successful commissioning of equipment/projects across BHP.- Explore and iteratively reassess the best fit for purpose solutions, taking ownership of project decisions and outcomes and monitoring and managing mpacts to value across the project lifecycle (e.g. social, environmental, commercial).- Based on BOS tools, determine the underlying cause of problems and evaluates multiple solutions to ensure a planned and structured approach to solving complex problems.- Identify and assesses risks, makes risk informed decisions, uses BHP's risk management framework and builds a risk aware culture to support safe and productive performance outcomes.- Develop and maintain trusting and collaborative relationships with Operational and Functional teams to foster strong communication, regular feedback and continuous improvement- Engage, know, understand and build long-term relations with our customers and clients and be obsessed with meeting their needs.- Foster a safe to speak up environment to team members to work effectively with customers to achieve the best business outcomes.- Engage and ensure the best use of resources and capabilities across the entire organisation.- Lead and develop a large team of diverse projects, collaborators and contractors facilitating a strong culture of teamwork, trust & high performance, and where respectful behaviours are demonstrated at all times- Identify and manage schedule risks, providing ongoing communications to relevant stakeholders and solution identification including prioritisation to best support Program requirements;- Lead the optimisation of Planning & Scheduling through the Work Management process to reduce waste and increase value adding work- Coordinate and positively influence the integration of simultaneous projects with the MECoE and broader business, supporting Operations to achieve benchmark performance.**About Y
