Objective: Preparation and issuance of weekly reports to the project, informing the dispatches and delivery dates on site, attaching the respective backups
Responsibilities: · Enhances product workflow by analyzing and developing logistics plans that affect production, distribution, and inventory.
· Creates and reviews procedures for distribution and inventory management to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize cost.
· Ensures rational distribution and delivery according to analysis report and tracking records.
· Alongside the Manager of Procurement, participate and assist in the project logistics strategy development and implementation.
· Hold weekly meetings with suppliers, Client and their collaborators, when applicable, for guidelines regarding the Client and mine procedures for the delivery of supplies on site (daily reception capacity, schedules, regulations, etc.)
· Review shipping documentation before shipments for later use (packing list, indivisibility certificates, road permits, route studies, etc.)
· Review carrier insurance coverage, when applicable
· Generate technical bases and carry out bidding for transportation contracts when required
· Budget transportation services when required
What will you bring? You will have + 7 years of experience in the position for mining projects or engineering companies.
Requirements: - Studies or experience related to the position.
- Previous experience in mining projects.
- Intermediate use of Office tools.
- Experience in the use of dispatch or traffic/logistics monitoring and reportability platforms for engineering and mining companies
Base or Place of Work: Santiago de Chile, Chile.
