Study Lead (Mine Engineering)

**The Opportunity**The role will be accountable for management and delivery of the Mine Engineering studies for the El Pachon Definition Study in line with Glencore Copper's roject efinition uidelines and tandards.**In this role you will**:- Lead the El Pachon project in the planning execution and documentation of the mining studies to support the completion of the El Pachon Definition Study including:- Mine Design, Scheduling and Optimization- Mining Fleet selection and technology optimization assessments- Reserve Estimation and cut of grade analysis- Operating and Capital Cost estimation- Cover planning and execution of data collection programs, benchmarking and best practice studies requiring travel to other mining operations.**Your training, skills & expertise checklist**:- Bachelor's Degree in Mine Engineering or similar.- 15+ years mining industry experience across mining operations, corporate engineering/consulting and major project studies.- 8+ years of experience at large open cut metals mining operations.- Significant capability in running mining technical services and mine planning departments.- Experience in developing and managing high performance teams with a high degree of autonomy.- Demonstrated experience in successfully delivering advanced mining studies (PFS and Feasibility Studies) to a high standard.- Exceptional written and oral communication skills in both English and Spanish.- Significant experience in communicating technical information and findings to senior personnel, including non-technical audiences.- Ability to travel to the El Pachon site in Argentina's San Juan Provence at an altitude of 3000- 4300m.
