Job Summary:The ES&H Supervisor will lead a high-performance team to develop and manage complex Environmental, Safety, and Health (ES&H) project programs. Assist functional leads to ensure requirements are properly integrated and be responsible for overall project ES&H execution. The leadership will help achieve ES&H performance expectations, compliance, and continuous improvement. Major Responsibilities: Managing global Environmental, Safety and Health (ES&H) services and establishing strategic objectives, standards, systems, and policy for ES&H performance among corporate-based functions, Global Business Units (GBUs), and projects. Supervising EH&S personnel and facilitating their development through assignments, coaching, and mentoring. Overseeing and assuring that ES&H requirements are properly interpreted by projects and other functions, and integrated in GBU processes, planning, procedures, and training for all three ES&H disciplines (including medical). Developing and sustaining the ES&H Management System and assuring that it is applied across all functions, GBUs, and projects to continually improve ES&H program execution. Overall responsibility for ES&H program development and execution within Bechtel, confirming that corporate functions, GBUs, and projects adhere to ES&H requirements, standards, and customer expectations. Managing budgets, schedules, and resources for interpreting and implementing complex ES&H requirements, evaluating, and applying appropriate ES&H principles, and developing suitable plans and methods in compliance with global ES&H requirements. Overseeing and reviewing implementation of Bechtel's ES&H Policy, Management System, and standards. Confirming ES&H emergency preparedness planning and the adequacy of incident investigation and resolution. Conducting audits to confirm ES&H compliance with contractual commitments, laws and regulations, environmental permit requirements, and Bechtel standards. Confirming that environmental regulatory submittals, documentation, and actions are completed as required. Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree (or international equivalent) related to Environmental, Safety, Health or science-related discipline. 6-8 years of relevant experience (related to the position). Required Knowledge and Skills: Microsoft Office tools. Knowledge of Chilean Law, Mining Regulations and Chilean Safety Regulations. English language is preferable (writing, reading and speaking).
