Ivy Tech sponsored internship positions created in support of IvyWorks Grant to increase the number of women in technology careers, grow the local economy, and train skilled talent in Indiana. Ivy Tech Community College and Indy Women in Tech have joined forces to provide more pathway to employment.Major Responsibilities:Responsibilities will vary by job site, but can include any of the following job duties:Repairs, installs, and inspects devices electronics or electronic systems as directed through verbal or written directions, diagrams, drawings, or specifications. Achieves company's standards around repair timeliness and quality of repair for each device. Determines material or replacement needs and a logical method for repair; takes appropriate action to meet those needs and makes repairs. Manages and installs cables, wiring, and parts as needed Creates or adapts parts as needed to make repairs and improve the performance of various electronic devices. Performs quality control checks to ensure the functionality of each device is at a satisfactory level. Maintains and follows safe working procedures and requirements when working with electronic equipment and components. Develops and maintains records related to devices, parts and repairs. Creates and maintains a clean and organized work area. Performs other related duties as assigned. Assist in the setup, imaging, and deployment of all computers on campus. Replace all networking hardware on campus. Provide field support through the Infrastructure teamPay Rate: $15.00/hourSchedule: Schedule varies based on work site. Some internships will be completed at off site locations including but not limited to:Axia Women's Health City of Michigan City Ivy Tech Community College K-12 Tech RepairMust be a current, qualifying Ivy Tech Student in the Information Technology ProgramIvy Tech Community College is an accredited, equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
