With a presence stretching from Johannesburg to Vancouver, Sydney to Lima, you are part of a global brand that supports creativity, fosters innovation and encourages you to think big, share ideas and be yourself**Job Purpose**:The Product Engineer II role is responsible for providing Autonomous Systems technical support through task assigned, processes using code changes, updates, testing and QA methods to ensure the product safety and productivity.Global Support Product Engineers provide 24×7 support in emergency situations to the Autonomous Systems Regional Support teams, deploys the Autonomous Systems using installation documentation, following standards, outlined procedures and customer equipment fixed and mobile to ensure proper installation and system functionality.Product Engineer II have must follow best practices and serve as a role model for Product Engineer I, leading by example, providing couching, mentoring and knowledge transfer sessions.**Travel Requirements**:50%**Job Duties and Responsibilities**:- Technical Support:- Advanced-level support of at least 2 products.- Writes test plans and conducts testing.- Writes technical documentation.- Meet our internal and external SLA performance criteria.- Responsiveness to customer requests for assistance.- Ensure that work is carried out and meets best practice MMS and Komatsu standards for Quality Assurance.- Safety and Risk Prevention:- When working at a customer workplace ensure compliance with the customer's safety standards as a minimum.- Comply with relevant local country standards.- Implement and comply with any specific MMS standards.**Required Skills**:- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent- 1 year of experience in computing coding, troubleshooting, testing or similar technical duties- Experience as Product Engineer I or 4 years proven experience in an MMS or Komatsu region as a Technical Support specialist- Proven technical understanding of at least 4 products**Desired Skills**:- Work Standards- Earning Trust- Leveraging Feedback- Adaptability- Safety Focus- Customer Orientation- Managing WorkKomatsu is an Equal Opportunity Workplace and an Affirmative Action Employer.
