Job Purpose and ImpactThe Parts Room Supervisor is responsible for leading inventory control through Cargill's SAP reordering system, invoicing and receiving issues, and completing all necessary paperwork. In this role, you will set performance expectations, hold your team accountable to those expectations, and be responsible for product safety, employee health and safety, and parts room activities.Key AccountabilitiesLead the day-to-day parts room operations including receiving, cycle counting, troubleshooting, and inventory accuracy in addition to developing, implementing, administering and evaluating policies and proceduresCoordinate with external vendors and internal teams to ensure proper execution of orders and inventory managementReview, complete, and ensure the accuracy of parts room related material master dataEnsure compliance with safety and food safety codes, policies, and procedures of the company and the standards established by regulatory agenciesEnsure that all parts room personnel are trained on all required equipmentResponsible for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions for your direct reportsOther duties as assignedQualificationsMinimum QualificationsRight to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experienceMinimum of one year of related work experienceFluent in English (speak, read, and write)Ability to climb stairs, with or without a reasonable accommodationPreferred QualificationsAbility to operate independently with minimal supervisionTwo years of experience utilizing SAPOne year of supervisory experienceInventory experience in a food processing environmentExperience operating a forkliftExperience working with external vendors Troubleshooting experience through critical thinking and proactive and innovative solutioningPosting InformationLocation: Dayton, VAEqual Opportunity Employer, including Disability/Vet
