And how we can deliver a more sustainable world.?_**Purpose**The person in charge of supporting the coordination and management of pre-commissioning activities related to mechanical and piping systems.**Responsibilities**- Coordinates and directs pre-commissioning activities, testing of plant systems and equipment to assure safe and operational reliability of the facility.- The individual provides some technical guidance and direction to operations engineers, technicians, client personnel, and others who are performing specific assignments.- May conduct client training.- Decision Making: Makes independent decisions and recommendations for large independent projects and/or several small independent projects. Recommendations reviewed for soundness of judgment but usually accepted as technically accurate and feasible. Decisions involve, social, environmental, and project impact.- Supervision Received: Works with self-initiated interaction with supervisor and self-initiated technical guidance. Broad duties assigned at beginning of projects. Work is assigned in terms of objectives, relative priorities, and critical areas that impinge on work of other units. Work is reviewed to ensure policy conformity and soundness of approach. Informed guidance is available.- Supervision Authority: Assigns project work and gives technical guidance to staff assigned to work on small projects. May have direct reports and may have authority for performance evaluations impacting pay.- Systems, Processes & Tools Strong understanding of systems, processes and tools related to field.
