We have partnered with a worldwide global quantitative asset management firm with over $7 billion in assets under management looking to expand their DevOps team in their new office in Uruguay.  What you'll be doing as a DevOps Engineer: We are seeking a Senior DevOps engineer to join the team that works on a complex distributed architecture, spanning physical machines, and virtualizing on-prem host/cloud computing.  The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage complexity and tackle problems across multiple stack layers as a part of a small team championing operational excellence. What you'll need to be successful in this job: Linux operating system internals, performance tuning, and troubleshooting Network stack and the ability to troubleshoot complex connectivity issues. On-Prem DevOps experience CI/CD/SDLC technology Kubernetes, Docker, or similar virtualization technologies Distributed Telemetry frameworks Scripting skills ideally with Python or Go In-depth SQL experience Upper intermediate / Advanced level of English Bachelor´s Degree in Computer Science or related careers  What do we offer?
