We are looking for a professional with the right experience for the position of Field Service Manager South America.For this position you will be responsible for:- This position covers the Field Service teams in Chile and Brazil.- Manage the areas of technical assistance with respect to the administrative part, such as preparation and control of the budget, degree of "absorption", processes associated with people management, overtime and expenses.- Plan and manage customer service, guiding and supporting technically and administratively your team in the execution / solution of technical assistance services, in order to achieve a service of excellence and quality, thus keeping the customer confident and satisfied.- Identify development needs and technical gaps in the service team and define individual development plans in line with the company's strategy.- Act as an internal and external consultant, channeling the technical knowledge of the company to support customers in process and equipment issues.- Manage customer service regarding of definitions of maintenance and improvements of equipment and facilities, acquisition of spare parts, repair of equipment, contracting of services, with the aim of improving the operational availability of the client.- Manage technical support for the sales area, providing all the necessary information for quotations of services and products to meet the needs of the client.- Promote the sale of products relevant to the Company portfolio, contact customers, promote technical and commercial discussions, to generate business for the company and meet customer needs.- Analyze and select technical alternatives, using technical knowledge already acquired and / or consultations, to present to the client the possible solutions that cover the needs raised.- Present the selected technical solutions to the client, seeking the best technical-economic balance.- Participate in the strategic planning cycle of the service area at the local level, being responsible for the market in South America.- Ensure that the service team correctly uses the company's global administrative service systems and that they are kept up to date. Perform control of the working day, with approval of specific occurrences and management of the number of hours.- Carry out all the processes associated with people management in accordance with the company's guidelines, in time and quality.- Manage the work of technical assistance, making the interface between the client and the company, guide and instruct the own team or the client to perform the service, in order to reduce the downtime of the equipment and ensure the quality required by the company.- Deliver technical support to the Sales Area, providing all the necessary information so that the quotes of the technical assistance services meet the needs of the client.- Comply with the safety, hygiene, disciplinary or other standards established by the company, following the established rules and the guidelines of the immediate superior, resolving doubts in this regard in order to comply with current regulations and encourage others by being an example of conduct for officials in the area in which it operates.In addition, to succeed in this position, you should have:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering Mechanical or equivalent.- Solid experience in companies in the field service.- Experience with mechanical work in the pulp & paper industry (Maintenance, PGP, etc.).- Experience leading teams.- Availability for travels.- Fluent Spanish.- Fluent Portuguese.- Fluent English (desirable).- Successful track record of leadership with an ability to build, inspire and lead teams to achieve goals and drive accountability with a key requirement being a demonstrated ability to obtain results in a matrix organization.We offer:We offer you an exciting and challenging job in a global environment and opportunities for professional development.
