**Location/Division Specific Information**At our corporate offices in Santiago de Chile.**What will you do? (Responsibilities)**- Partner with management to ensure strategic HR goals are aligned with business initiatives- Maintain HR systems and processes updated- Coordinate performance and salary reviews- Ensure all company HR policies are applied consistently- Negotiate with Union all labor matters as Bargaining agreements, internal rules, disciplinary actions, etc.- Design and implement employee retention strategies- Develop training materials and performance management programs to help ensure employees understand their job responsibilities- Design and execute employee engagement plans- Use performance management tools to provide guidance and feedback to team- Ensure job descriptions are up to date and compliant with all local, state and federal regulations- Create a compensation strategy for all employees based on market research and pay surveys; keeps the strategy up to date- Investigate employee issues and conflicts and brings them to resolution- Ensure the organization's compliance with local, state and federal labor regulations- Maintain company organization charts and employee directory- Provide HR support and guidance to site staff- Manage the staffing process, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring and onboarding**How will you get here?**- ** Career: Degree in Industrial/Business Administration/HR Speciality**- Strong experience, 7-10 years, working in HR activities**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities**- Strong knowledge about HR local processes- ** Ability to work independently**:- Advanced level of MS Office- Ideally experience with Workday- English 90%At Thermo Fisher Scientific, each one of our 70,000 extraordinary minds has a unique story to tell.
