PositionSummary Bechtel is seeking a M and M Construction AutomationLead for the Mining and Metals team, based in Chile. The position willbe responsible for Reporting directly to the M and M AutomationManager and taking functional direction from the Manager ofConstruction and/or Chief Construction Engineer, the ConstructionAutomation Lead provides construction input into the overall M and MAutomation Strategy. **Responsibilities**:

Working with the Manager of construction tocoordinate construction Automation resources to be assigned toprojects.

Reviewing and providing feedback on project staffingplans to ensure sufficient resources are included to support theproject.

Developing training plans andassisting with implementation of training to field Engineering,construction automation personnel and others, including designEngineering as required.

Providing technical support to globalprojects as required.

In coordination with otherfunctional automation leads, auditing data exchanges to ensure theyare implemented and configured correctly.

Ensuring rules ofcredit are configured and review proposed deviations ifrequired.

Ensuring quantity reporting interfaces areconfigured, and quantity reports are reviewed for completeness andaccuracy.

Providing functional oversight of constructionautomation personnel and working with the Manager of Construction onindividual career plans, development plans and performancereviews.

Providing feedback and collaborates with the Managerof Construction during project functional reviews.
