III. Social, economic and environmental sustainability.OFFICIAL ANOUNCEMENTUMAG-ANID calls to a public contest for the position of Manager of the CHICH Center.**1. TARGET**Full time position (45-h/week), exclusive dedication, Chilean or foreign, residing in Chile for management and operation of CHIC in Punta Arenas and Puerto Williams (XII region), Santiago, and/or abroad.**2. PROFILE: MANAGER POSITION OF THE CAPE HORN INTERNATIONAL CENTER (CHIC) (SYNTHESIS)****Background**:Professional title - discipline/profession in administration, economy, social sciences, sciences or engineering. Desirable specializations/post-degree in Science Project management, Technology and Innovation, in technologic transference, Diffusion of C and T, other.**Experience**: Team work, Operational and Financial CTCi projects management/Agreements and leverage of resources management/ economical sustainability analysis, Results oriented. Experience in communication of the science and/or impact on public politics desirable.**Skills**: high level of analytical skills, problem solving, English-Spanish fluency both oral and written, smooth interaction with investigators, students, associate entities authorities. Ability to leverage and manage financing and other resources. Ability to multisectoral/interdisciplinary dialogue with diverse actors**3. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**Define and Lead management of the development Plan, particularly linkage with private parties, diffusion and extension, identification of resources and what has been entrusted/delegated.Elaborate and Propose the Management strategic plan/ with the Director and/or responsible team of the operational management and leverage of public/private resources.Develop and implement the Management strategic plan monitoring results.Manage resources according to work plan and budget, contracts and agreements, diffusion and transference to public policies, to the private sector and social personalities.Manage contracts and/or agreements CHIC with partners collaborating national. international, public/privates.Manage leverage of financial resources.Report the execution of the development plan, topics under their responsibility and requested specifically.Maintain close and coordinated work relationship with the Director, investigators and administrative personnel Communicate with the technical-financial UMAG counterpart, other associative investigation centers and with ANID.Supervise and evaluate the performance of personnel under his responsibility.**4. MAIN TASKS**a. Elaborate together with the Director and his team the Strategic, that will guarantee the compliance of the commitment of the Development Plan for ANID.b. Manage actions and resources of the Annual Management Plan, defining responsibilities, chronograms, deadlines and quality standards of the activities, monitoring its compliance.c. Cooperate with the tracking and updating of the annual budget execution with the Administration and Finances Unit.d. Procure new resources and stablish public/private collaborative netse. Procure opportunities, instruments or actions to formalize information flows and monitoring to report ANID and propose improvements.f. Assure compliance with the administrative policies and regulations of ANID/UMAG.g. Lead and supervise with a good working environment.**5. CONTRACTUAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS**- Full time- Punta Arenas/Puerto Williams/Santiago- Initial Contract: Three MonthsFrom 4th month and post evaluation, 12-month renewal or early termination of the contract- Performance evaluation at the end of the first contract and then annually.- Job dependency: CHIC directory- Monthly Salary: $3.000.000 net*
