Our strategy is to focus on creating a safe work environment where our employees feel strongly connected to our values and objectives, and where the capability of our people is key to our success.Come and be a part of this success- About the Role- Work as part of an extended leadership unit across Category Management and assist Heads of and Category Leads to prioritize work and resources, in line with the business plan, Contribute to achieving Supply performance targets, Lead project teams of specialists on specific programs of work, projects or other contract portfolio accountabilities and Work collaboratively across Supply (Region, Global and across sub-functions).**Role Responsibilities**:- Ensure alignment with global function where relevant on category strategies and improving functional excellence.- Responsible for understanding the hygiene of portfolio and assist Category Leads in allocating resources to manage portfolio effectively and manage performance to plans (e.g. Supplymanagement, contract management, governance, value delivery, pipeline build).- Responsible for understanding contribution to Supply business plan and have agreed plans in place to meet deliverables and Supply targets. Manage performance to these plans.- Support Category Leads in establishing and managing good operational disciplines within teams.- Identification and management of Category risks (including but not limited to security of supply, reputation).- Build trusted relationships with key asset and functional stakeholders, and broker relationships for other teams who have like stakeholders across the business.- Keeping abreast of key external trends both functionally and Supply market perspective, new innovation and newly emerging risks.- Driving collaboration with senior stakeholders across the region to identify and execute opportunities to reduce external spend.- Actively engaging within Supply and stakeholder groups to provide commercially focused coaching and mentoring.- Developing and implementing business cases to drive total value chain outcomes related to external spend.- Developing and driving implementation plans to ensure that value is sustainably captured (which may include defining and tracking success measures).- About You- To be a top performer you will need:- Bachelor's degree related to the role (Engineering, Commercial or alike).- At least 5 years of experience.- Advanced English proficiency.- Availability to travel sporadically to Mining Sites.**Supporting a Diverse Workforce**The size, stability and magnitude of our business not only provides significant opportunity for professional development, but also attractive salary packages with performance-based bonuses and a best-in-class employee share program.
