Our more tenured teammates, some of whom have been with Evalueserve since it started more than 20 years ago, have enjoyed leadership opportunities in different regions of the world across our seven business lines.**What you will be doing at Evalueserve**- Providing technical leadership for all aspects of database management such as database lifecycle management, monitoring, support, disaster recovery, compliance, and standards.- Researching new Oracle database versions, features, tools, and technologies with an Enterprise perspective to meet customer needs while maintaining a secure database environment.- Researching, benchmarking, and suggesting improvements to database support processes, customer experience (CX) improvements, and compliance requirements.- Providing 3rd and 4th level cloud (Oracle, SQL Server, etc) database support for complex issues.- Participating in and managing database related projects, database security patching audits, and compliance reviews and testing.- Developing new and updating existing database technology related documentation as needed- Participating on customer driven and Division/department projects.- Working with a geographically distributed team- Acting in a self-directed manner, independently researching tools/libraries/technologies or solving a problem with mínimal oversight and instruction**What we're looking for**- Bachelor's Degree in related field- Expert in Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM)- Advanced knowledge of scripting languages (shell, Perl, emcli)- Advanced knowledge of SQL- Database Lifecycle Management (DBLM)- Oracle Fleet Management module to deploy automated patching- Oracle Database Administration skills managing Oracle database versions 12c and 19c- Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC)- Manual database patching and database upgrades- Installing Oracle release updates (RU) security patches on data guard, multitenant, stand alone and Real Application Cluster (RAC) databases- Database performance management and database hardware configuration- Linux / UNIX operating systems (RedHat and AIX)- Aware of cloud computing platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS- Aware of IT Service Management (ITSM) & Root cause analysis (RCA) processes- Aware of database security threats and security best practices
