Our strategy is to focus on creating a safe work environment where our employees feel strongly connected to our values and objectives, and where the capability of our people is key to our success.- About the Role- We are looking for the right person to provide effective execution of Global Mobility case management services, including the provision of high quality technical expertise, guidance and advice to the Business and HR, in the Minerals Americas region.- Support the execution of world class global mobility services across Minerals Americas, ensuring the delivery of activities are timely and customer-focused whilst maintaining operational discipline in accordance with BHP's GLD, Global Mobility operating model and external legal, regulatory, and reporting requirements.- Support the management, governance, delivery, administration and execution of BHP's global mobility program, policies, and procedures in the Region, including, but not limited to:- Execute day to day case management activities of International Assignees in the Region with regard to relocation, tax, immigration services including IA contractual requirements, and assignment enquiry management.- Co-ordination of local country documents for immigration and tax services including company signatory and coordinating legalization by notary.- Input into the design and management of the global mobility service delivery framework and end to end accountabilities.- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities of global mobility processes, tools, templates, systems to ensure compliance with regulatory and governance requirements in the region- Identify issues and risks which may impact the global mobility service delivery framework, compliance obligations or the effective execution of global mobility within the Region and recommend appropriate actions to mitigate risks.- Maintain and govern IA data for population in AssignmentPro and other external Vendor third party systems to ensure completeness and accuracy of records.- Develop relationships with BHP's external tax, immigration, and relocation vendors to ensure high quality service delivery and prompt resolution of issues.- Monitor, govern and ensure alignment and compliance with internal controls.- Monitor the services of external Vendors, following up on service delivery and continuous improvement initiatives as required.- Develop frameworks, processes and tools and provide guidance to the Business and HR to manage compliance requirements with respect to Short Term Business Travellers in the Region.- About You-- Experience with supporting the delivery and execution of global mobility policies, processes, and initiatives in multinational organisations.- Deep technical expertise in global mobility programs, including ability to think conceptually, analyse, problem solve and drive practical solutions.- Knowledge of local and regional (South America) legal and regulatory requirements and documents, as they relate to tax and immigration.- Ability to navigate complex issues and develop simplified processes to manage the complexity.- Support the promotion of a culture of innovation, learning and development and continuous improvement with the team.- Ability to influence others to achieve desired outcomes, including being able to work with people across all levels of the organisation (administrators to Vice Presidents) and cross-culturally as part of a global team.- Able to translate data analytics into commercial insights- Degree or equivalent education required and/or international mobility or international reward roles- Deep experience with the delivery, execution and understanding of global mobility programs and policies- Good understanding of Regional reporting requirements and governance issues as they relate to tax and immigration and understanding of global jurisdictional differences, legislation, and regulations- Technical experience in global mobility concepts, methodologies, and approaches.- Excellent communication skills, high attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to adapt to change- Fluent in Spanish and English, both verbal and written- Good understanding of international HR and payroll processes, reporting and data management.- Strong organizational skills and ability to handle numerous tasks simultaneously while prioritizing and meeting deadlines.- Proficiency in use of the Microsoft Office suite, in particular Microsoft Excel Project management skills an advantage.
