One of the primary functions of the warehouse manager is to develop a risk prevention plan in accordance with the tasks and the nature of his facility. This plan contemplates carrying out an annual technical inspection of the state of the racks. In this inspection, in addition to the state of the racks, the conditions of the pallets, the adequacy of the cranes and loading units to the racks, as well as the correctness of the maneuvers by the operators are evaluated.Lead the reception and expedition. The warehouse manager must plan what steps to follow and ensure compliance. In addition, he will be the one who makes decisions in the event of unforeseen situations.Inventory control. It means keeping track of the merchandise, both the finished product and the raw materials.
