Asan Account Manager supporting US Vision Care, you will be trusted tounderstand Eye Care Practitioner (ECP) needs and effectively sellAlcon's portfolio of Vision Care products to practices throughoutOrlando and Central Florida. Focus areas for this role include sellingAlcon's line of contact lenses, over the counter (OTC) contact lenscare products, as well as dry eye and allergy products. In thisrole, a typical day will include: - Increase sales and generateprofit obtaining annual corporate and territory financial objectivesby selling Alcon's vision care portfolio of products, promoting AlconServices, offering approved price discounts through in-marketpromotions, and by consulting with Eye Care Practitioners to improvethe profitability of their practices
- Align with customers using aneeds based selling approach to match Alcon products and services toidentify doctor and patient needs
- Provide product and technicalconsultation to doctors on the appropriate use of Alcon products.
-Create and execute a strategic plan and routing schedule for theterritory to capitalize on revenue from the highest potentialcustomers
- Plan and execute pre-booked calls daily
- Grow salesby shifting customer behaviors to dispense Alcon priority products astheir core/first-choice product line - take orders for dispensinginventories
- Execute marketing activities and promotions in orderto maximize sales
- Participate in District/Regional/Nationalmeetings as schedule
- Manage and prioritize time in order to mosteffectively achieve business results
- Selection of mostappropriate products and services for targeted accounts based oncompany priorities
- Co-op advertising spending calculations andspending decisions with customers for marketing programs
- Followall Alcon company policies regarding promotional spending,returns/exchanges and promotional guidelines
- Participate in andnetwork with customers at conventions, educational events, etc. asrequired
- Schedule and execute in-office and out of officepromotional trainings and meetings Key PerformanceIndicators: - Attainment of quarterly and annual salesquotas
- Call metrics including reach and frequency to targetedaccounts
- Compliance to regulations WHAT YOU'LL BRING TOALCON: - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of directlyrelated experience (or high school +10 yrs; Assoc.+6 yrs; M.S.)
- 2Years of Relevant Experience
- The ability to fluently read, write,understand and communicate in English
