This organization provides innovative solutions that empower businesses to make data-driven decisions, optimize performance, and achieve strategic goals.As the client's team expands, we are actively seeking a skilled Automation QA Engineer to contribute to the quality assurance process of their cutting-edge analytics services.**Responsibilities**:- Write automated tests for new features that are currently in design (priority) - API and Integration testing, UI testing- Rewrite or refresh automated tests for existing features, improve smoke test coverage in stage prior to production deployment- Solve highly technical and complex problems by building efficient solutions- Contribute procedures, tools, and practices to optimize team productivity- Perform automated testing across different phases of the software development lifecycle, including unit testing, integration testing, and regression testing**Competencies/Skills Required**:- 2+ years of QA Automation experience- Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript- Experience testing Web/Rest API- Experience writing automation tests using Cypress/Node.js- Experience with segmented, micro-service architecture- Good communication and problem-solving skills- Experience working with distributed systems- Demonstrated experience with best SDLC practices: coding standards, reviews, code management, build processes, and testing- History of successfully testing software following an Agile methodology such as Scrum or Kanban- Working knowledge of Git for source control purposes- Familiarity with testing analytics and data visualization products is a plus**What we offer**:- Long-term contract with ability to rotate between different projects- Dynamic environment with a low level of bureaucracy- Challenging tasks- Education path: boost your skills and knowledge with our regular internal events (trainings, workshops etc), language courses and company-paid certifications- Growth environment: share your experience and level up your expertise with a community of skilled professionals, locally and globally- Paid vacation, holidays and sick leavesAt VARTEQ, we're always looking for talented professionals who thrive in a learning work environment that continually supports individual greatness.
