Demand Planning Analyst

We are Jules and our client is looking for a Demand Planning Analyst! **This position is open for people residing in LATIN AMERICA** About the Position:As a Demand Planner, you will play a crucial role in forecasting, planning, and securing the inventory needed to meet our business goals. With at least 5-8 years of experience in demand planning, the ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of market dynamics, supply chain management, and inventory control. This role requires a disciplined approach and the ability to collaborate closely with various teams across our company to ensure our inventory levels are optimized to meet demand in a timely and cost-effective manner. Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and sales projections.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product development teams to understand market demand and adjust inventory plans accordingly.
- Monitor and analyze inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock is maintained to meet demand without overstocking.
- Work closely with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure timely procurement and delivery of goods.
- Interface with teams across different regions, particularly in Latin America, to align demand planning strategies with local market needs.
- Implement and maintain demand planning software or systems for improved efficiency and accuracy.
- Prepare and present reports on inventory levels, supply chain performance, and demand forecasting accuracy to senior management.
- Identify risks to supply chain and inventory levels and develop contingency plans to address them. Requirements:- 5-8 years of experience in demand planning, inventory management, or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high proficiency in statistical analysis and forecasting methods.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across different cultures and teams.
- Experience with demand planning software and advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Fluent in English, with proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese considered a plus due to our operations in Latin America.
