**Job Title**: Deputy Credit Research ManagerWe are looking for a Deputy Credit Research Manager who will support two Senior Analysts covering the Financials and Utilities sectors in Latin America.**Location**: Santiago, Chile (Santiago, Agustinas 640 Torre MetLife piso 19)**Work Schedule**: 3 Days in the office and 2 days remote (Hybrid)**Role Value Proposition**:- Develop and maintain financial models.- Stay up to date with the industry's news and trends to anticipate potential changes in the credit quality of the issuers under coverage.- Report relevant events, including earnings, changes in regulatory environments, and other credit-relevant news.- Support Senior analysts in developing relative value analysis and formulating trade ideas for Portfolio Managers.- Support Senior analysts in developing credit presentations on specific issuers and topics.- Develop relationships with sell-side analysts, IR departments, and credit rating agencies.**Key Responsibilities**:- In-depth knowledge of credit analysis (sector-specific for Utilities or Financials is a plus).- Strong communication skills, including fluency in English are mandatory.- Ability to effectively manage time and balance requirements from multiple reporting lines.- Self-motivated team player, able to work across different cultures and regions and contribute to a positive working environment.**Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills**:- Bachelor's degree in related areas (commercial engineering, business administration, accounting).- **Chartered Financial Analyst** (**CFA) charter holder or related post-graduate degrees are a plus.- 5+ years of relevant work experience in financial analysis of corporate issuers.- Proficiency in Office tools and Bloomberg.Required:- Fluency in English**Business Category**MetLife Investment Management**MetLife**:MetLife, through its subsidiaries and affiliates, is one of the world's leading financial services companies, providing insurance, annuities, employee benefits and asset management to help its individual and institutional customers navigate their changing world.
