You will have high attention to detail, you will perform solid modeling, detailed drafting, analysis/simulation, site-based reverse engineering, write design reports, and issue technical documents for manufacturing and sales. You will assist with product failure investigations and deliver innovative solutions to design challenges.You will provide engineering expertise in the development of new products and the customization of existing ones. You will ensure best-in-class products that comply with Australian and International Quality as we continue to create world-class design solutions for our customers. You are a customer focussed person, who is committed to making a difference. You will and contribute to the analysis, support, testing of new products, solutions, and services, and capture information for the documentation of training/education/marketing for both internal and external stakeholders. You will plan, align, and ensure all relevant authorizations/approvals are in place for undertaking an assessment of engineering, products, and services through close collaboration in research and development activities and field trials.Key Selection Criteria: Relevant tertiary education in mechanical/mechatronics engineering or relevant experience Experience with CAD, FEA and DEM/MBD. Specific experience with software such as Unigraphics, ANSYS, ANSYS Motion and Teamcenter would be highly regarded Experience in designing and developing new products (Rope Shovel GET or knowledge of the Rope Shovel equipment and operation Bilingual in English and Spanish (written and verbal) required
