Development of complex commercial proposals and contracting mechanisms.- Studying the requirements, duties and obligations of the company under contracts to ensure alignment with the company's goals and industry regulations.- Providing commercial input into the cost estimating process.- Sign-off of bid/project terms in accordance with own levels of delegated authority and obtaining further corporate approvals in accordance with company delegations of authority.- Identification and management of commercial risks to meet project commitments.- Support to the production and assessment of supplier request for proposals (RFPs) ensuring risk mitigation and value for money is achieved and meets customer's needs.- Analysis and drafting of contract requirements and terms and conditions to ensure compliance with law and corporate policies.- Develop negotiation strategies and lead negotiations to ensure strategic business objectives are met.- Contract administration of the allocated projects to maximize profitability and ensure timely achievement of project objectives.- Management of the commercial elements of the contract change control process.- Providing contractual guidance and coaching to the project team and briefings on project commercial issues when required.- Building effective commercial customer relationships and assuming commercial focal point for allocated projects.- Development and continuous improvement of commercial processes and procedures within the business.- As required, lead and project manage bid teams to ensure robust proposal responses are submitted on time and with appropriate governance and rigour.- Provide input and support to through life-cycle project delivery improvement initiatives.- As required, provide additional project/programme management support and expertise to meet business needs.- Identify, develop and launch initiatives and tools to support delivery of sales and profit targets- Develop relationships with key technology providers to enable us to develop forward thinking sales and support programmes for our customers- Responsibility for all Sales and Commercial programme analytics and data science.**Requirements**:- Excellent communications skills.- Stakeholder management.- Problem solver.- A willingness to learn and develop within the role.- Proactive and can-do attitude Essential experience.- Broad knowledge of customer base and industry segment.- Strong Presentation and communication skills.- Good planning and organizational skills.- Proactive style and results driven.- Ability to understand and interpret customer requirements and contractual issues.Minimum of 7 years in relevant role.Degree: Bachelor's Degree/Higher National Diploma.Master's degree in relevant field is an added advantage.
