Come be a part of the success through this leadership role!Come and be a part of this success!**About the Role**:As the Head of Innovation, Business Integration - Minerals Americas, you will lead the Minerals Americas Innovation Business Integration team, providing the strategic support and oversight required to deliver the Innovation strategy across the Assets within the region.This leader will embed customer, Asset, and Function priorities into the Innovation pipeline, overseeing the portfolio of innovation initiatives to ensure these meet the needs of Assets and can be deployed in our operations.This is a global search with the role to be based in Santiago, Chile.**Main Accountabilities**- Define and drive the Innovation strategy in collaboration with peers, articulating customer and Asset needs and priorities to inform prioritisation and shape the innovation pipeline- Translate corporate objectives into actionable plans; communicating, managing and analysing the implementation of those plans, and reporting back on their progress to facilitate the delivery of the strategy- Frame, evaluate and communicate the risk-reward proposition of strategies, plans and decisions; improves investment methodologies, processes, capabilities and culture to enhance investment decision quality, to maximise the long-term value of BHP- Maintain a wide network of impact, integrating Functions, operations and regions to solve complex challenges to drive strong Functional/Asset integration across BHP- Accelerate Innovation initiatives by engaging with senior stakeholders across BHP to remove blockers and secure required executive support- Define and establish a best practices innovation culture and practices across Innovation that drive collaborative behaviour- Lead the Business Integration team in driving value for BHP through connecting the Innovation team with the broader business- Establish clear and effective accountabilities, ways of working, governance mechanisms and process for engaging with Assets- Proactively engage with Assets to understand their needs and challenges to bring useful and impactful innovation that addresses those challenges- Strategically partner with Assets to identify, prioritise, pilot and deploy technologies- Plan for and manage Operational Readiness to support customers and Assets in receiving and implementing new solutions- Identify opportunities for scaling technologies both within and outside of BHP past deployment- Coach and develop the Business Integration function to ensure performance remains consistent with best practice**About You**:You will establish credibility through your technical mastery, leadership, and excellent communication skills.**Minimum requirements are**:- Tertiary qualification (Bachelor's Degree) in Engineering, Economics, Strategy, Geology, Business, Mine Engineering, Management or equivalent; Masters or Advanced Degree preferred- Extensive experience leading technical teams & implementing solutions within Technology, Business, or Mining fields; ideally across a matrix operating model- Demonstrated experience working across Mining operations, ideally with brownfield expansion project experience- Proven experience leading and influencing direct and in-direct teams and internal/external stakeholders- Demonstrated ability to identify early indications where innovation is needed in business processes and systems, with the ability to tra
