We're looking for the best and brightest Domain Architect, with a focus on Escondida/Spence/Santiago assets, to execute against our technology strategy.- As a Domain Architect, you will have several responsibilities:- providing advisory and guidance to Asset initiatives to ensure that BHP can best leverage and build technology solutions;- providing cross-domain expertise to align C&I domain solutions and initiatives;- architecture enablement through participation on Architecture Panels;- To be successful, you will build close relationships with Solution Architects and Engineers across Cloud and Infrastructure and BHP Technology teams.- The fun parts of this role include:- Engage early with project teams, including Architects and Engineers to provide advisory and expertise, to effectively influence the asset and function initiatives ensuring best practice and streamlined implementation of the Cloud and Infrastructure strategy- Engage with Cloud and Infrastructure Domain teams to ensure the platform capabilities, product and services roadmap meet Customer requirements- Communicate platform products and services effectively to stakeholders and other architects to ensure a secure and scalable approach to leveraging platform services is realized.- As a Cloud Operations focal point, the responsibilities will be:- Deep Understanding of different Azure Services and AWS- Good Knowledge on IaC Tools such as Terraform.- Excellent knowledge of Azure DevOps tools.- Good knowledge of Azure IAAS, PAAS and cloud networking- About You- You will be a trailblazer who enjoys delivering great products through complex problem solving. As a fantastic communicator you will be able to get the best of a team and able to engage with a range of multidisciplinary stakeholders.- We are looking for those with the following:- The senior role will provide more than 10 years of demonstrable experience in the IT industry- Significant platform experience including operational excellence, cyber security, reliability, performance efficiency, and cost optimization- Significant infrastructure architecture expertise including capacity planning, environment strategy and hosting requirements- Strong understanding of IaaS and cloud native solutions, incl. containers and serverless- Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to align stakeholders on complex technical decisions- Capable as a mentor, collaborator, team player, and individual contributor in an agile setting- Believes in a non-hierarchical culture of collaboration, transparency, safety, and trust- Not afraid to "roll up the sleeves" and seeks to go outside comfort zone to learn- Industry Professional Certifications (for example Microsoft, AWS, Cisco, VMWare) highly desirable- Open Group Architecture Certification (TOGAF) desirable- Bachelor degree or higher in Technology desirable- Spanish and English is mandatory- We know there are many aspects of our employees' lives that are important, and work is only one of these, so we offer benefits to enable your work to fit with your life.
