As a key player in our team, you will take the lead in formulating and implementing robust financial planning and reporting strategies tailored to the unique challenges and opportunities within the mining industry. Your role will involve the development of meticulous financial models, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring alignment with the specific needs of mining operations. If you're strategic thinker with a passion for financial excellence, ready to navigate the complexities of the mining industry, we invite you to contribute to our success and be a driving force in shaping our financial future.**Key Accountabilities**:- Collaborate with operations and cross-functional teams to gather inputs, analyze, and interpret 2-Year Budget and quarterly forecasts, focusing on driving performance to benchmarks.- Uses models, systems and tools to provide insightful financial analysis and recommendations to senior management, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.- Works with FBP's to ensure there is a robust plan for delivery of functional plans including, but not limited to 2-Year Budget and quarterly forecasts. Focus on driving performance to benchmarks is crucial.- Preparation of monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annual financial reports, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to key stakeholders.- Evaluate and enhance existing financial processes, systems, and controls to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal partners, fostering collaboration and effective communication.- Provides critical and accurate financial analysis to support decisions on tactical and strategic business challenge.- About You**To be a top performer you will need**:- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or professional certification (e.g., CPA) preferred.- Advanced English Proficiency.- At least 5 years experience in financial planning, reporting, and analysis roles, with a focus on strategic decision support.- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial information clearly to diverse audiences.- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and financial reporting standards- Strong organizational and project management skills.**Supporting a Diverse Workforce**The size, stability and magnitude of our business not only provides significant opportunity for professional development, but also attractive salary packages with performance-based bonuses and a best-in-class employee share program.
