Overview & Main Functions We are looking for a Production Scheduling Engineer to join our team based in Santiago de Chile, reporting to the Production Planning Coordinator. You will be responsible for preparing the monthly production schedule, control of downtime and inventory in process, with the main objective of meeting the master production plan both in time and volume and thus guarantee high levels of service to both internal and external customers through the CLIP and OTD indicators.
Main Responsibilities 01. Control of the production portfolio (volume produced and production based on a monthly production plan).
02. CLIP Management (Anticipate critics/actions to contain deviation).
03. OTD Management (Anticipate Critics/Actions to Contain Diversion).
05. Calculate POs (Production Orders) Aligned with Issued Production Schedules
06. Track material shortages or surpluses
07. Programming of Semi-Finished Products
08. Processing of incorrect consumption movement – COGI and inventory control in process.
09. Downtime control and plant efficiency.
10. Lead process inventory.
11. Propose improvements to the planning process and tools.
Who are we looking for? We are looking for a worker with the following skills:
• Industrial Civil Engineer
• 2 to 5 years of experience in related positions.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, scheduling, and production planning.
• Knowledge of legislation applicable to the area of safety and environment.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements: ISO 45001, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and both internal and corporate procedures applicable to your area. Civil and Criminal Liability in the event of an accident at work.
• Basic English language.
