Publicada ayer por- **Formation Environmental**Jornada CompletaEspecialistaEstados UnidosSacramento (California) o Boulder (Colorado)- Work collaboratively with our scientists, engineers, and analysts as well as our teaming partners to deliver successful projects on time and on budget.- Research, design, and implement advanced solutions that couple hydrology, meteorology, and climate sciences with satellite imagery, advanced analytics, and process-based models.- Drive understanding, selection, and maintenance of new and existing markets, clients, products, and solution enhancements.- Sustain, enhance, and build a dedicated client base.- Degree (M.Sc. or Ph.D. preferred) in Hydrology, Meteorology, Water Resources Engineering, or a related field.infiltration, evapotranspiration, and plant water uptake.- Experience with data processing and statistical analysis using R, Python, MATLAB, or similar, and experience in High-Performance Computing (HPC). Should be familiar with processing large datasets in a variety of different data formats including ASCII, GRIB, NetCDF, HDF.- Experience in large-scale hydrological, land surface, weather forecasting, and energy balance models (e.g., WRF, WRF-Hydro, Noah-MP, HGS, SWAT, ISNOBAL). Should be familiar with conducting hydrometeorological analyses using multiple products including but not limited toradar, satellite, numerical model data, sounding data, snowpack, soil moisture, inundation, and streamflow data.- Must possess strong geospatial analysis skillset and statistical skills for calibration, verification, and optimization of forecast models.- Experience in installing, managing, and operating hydrometeorological stations in complexterrain. Experience with programming datalogger and telemetry configurations.- Should possess strong written and oral communications skills as demonstrated by peer-reviewed publications, reports, and/or scientific presentations.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required in English and Spanish.Formation offers benefits for full-time positions.
