The result is a new way of embracing risk that drives superior results.The RoleOverviewThe Regional Project & Ops Manager will have overall responsibility for following areas:Project Operational Governance ? the regional conduit / coordinator for change governance (PMO) and is responsible for management of regional project portfolioProject Management & Delivery- Manage and support successful delivery projects across Asia CRB business within given KPIsOperations Support ? May be called upon to provide support on various Operations projects and activitiesMajor AccountabilitiesDevelop and proactively share best practice, provide challenge and drive consistency across the BU?s and region. Lead the roll-out of solutions to help improve client and colleague experience and in turn support strategic priorities. Client and business outcome orientated and more onshore / business focused than offshore / Ops.Build leadership commitment around the change agenda, by ensuring the roadmap and outcomes are clear / relevant and that checkpoints allow for effective decision making.Ensure that the portfolio of change is realistic and achievable, delivers the agreed measurable benefits, and strategically transforms the business in a client and business outcome orientated manner.Be the Asia point of escalation for resolving risks and issuesassociated with the portfolio of change, including resources, funding, prioritization and issue/risk managementOversee development of program plans of readiness, communication and activity for each country / business areaIdentify, prioritise and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimise the client and broker experience, as well as drive cost efficienciesFoster and maintain a collaborative relationship with other CRB teams and corporate functions in order to get things done.Plan, implement and manage agreed projects ? ensuring they meet business objectives, make effective and efficient use of resources and are completed on time / within budget.Act as the regional conduit / coordinator for change governance (PMO) and operational management information for CRB Asia.Support operations with the production and appropriate interrogation of relevant Operational (Run), Project (Change) & Control MI as required by leadership.Contribution to business plans, budget and associated monitoring as required.The requirementsMinimum Bachelor?s level degree preferred.4+ years of relevant experience in Insurance or Financial Services.Excellent project and program management skills; developing plans, coordinating tasks / work-streams and manages delivery.Demonstrates thorough experience in risk & issue management, business case development and implementation quality assurance.Thorough knowledge of change measurement, culture change, business readiness, workforce planning / stakeholder engagement.Experience of implementing initiatives to drive change and / or deliver operational excellenceExcellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to influence / coach / manage stakeholders across the organisation to get things done.High levels of Emotional Intelligence (EQ) ? including self-awareness, self-regulation, empathy and social skills. Actively listens ? makes people feel heard and understood. Shows respect and acts in ways that builds trust and respect.A strong personal desire to achieve excellence.Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and structure workload. Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.Strategic thinker who can decompose complex issues & find solutionsAccreditation or demonstrated knowledge of change management, project management, process improvement (Lean/Six Sigma), quality management or KPIs.Ability to speak at least one Asian language
