Responsibilities of Role:
Human Resources Director willprovide comprehensive oversight, planning and management of humanresources functions, while pursuing the organization's core values andstrategic commitment to attract, retain, promote and support the bestand most diverse talent, who can thrive in a respectful, inclusive andequitable work culture.
Business Partnership
Partner with SeniorManagement to establish strategic talent development programs to meetorganizational objectives.
Provide input on Human Resorcessolutions to business problems and strategies and contribute tomeasurable results on time and within budget.
Works closely withmanagement to identify and suggest solutions on how to improvecompany, departmental and team morale.
Facilitate communicationsthroughout the organization including employee engagement surveys;pulse surveys; means of sharing important information Goal is to be ahigh performing transparent workforce.
Identify organizationalimprovement needs, determine methods to meet those needs and implementprograms that are responsive to both individual and departmentalneeds.
Collaborate as key member of senior management team todevelop, reinforce and maintain key organizationalprograms.
Recruiting/On-Boarding
Review financial implicationsof hires with management team.
Partner with recruitment team todevelop recruitment strategy and define procedures for interviewingand hiring.
Communicates with department managers to clarifyrecruitment needs
Ensures adequate staffing of allpositions.
Provides reporting to senior and regional management asrequested.
Performance Management/Employee Development
Developprocesses and systems to improve organizational capability in areas ofgoal alignment, performance management & accountability, leadership &career development.
Develop and improve programs and practices toeffectively manage the organizational talent and correspondingdevelopmental needs.
Work with department leads to identifyrequired competencies to meet expectations of any givenposition.
Identify competency, knowledge, and talent gaps todevelop and implement targeted programs that address thesegaps.
Implement training programs.
Coordinate learning anddevelopment initiatives.
Employee Relations
Coaches and counselsmanagers and employees to resolve employee relationsissues.
Participate in employee investigations (if they arise);document issues and consult with IPG Legal (as appropriate) toidentify recommendations and avoid costly litigation.
Works tomaintain and expand positive employee relations withemployees.
Develop and implement retention/morale-buildingprograms.

Training and experience in supervision, leadershipdevelopment and organizational planning.
Sensitivity andcompetencies in diversity, equity and inclusion management will beevaluated.
Excellent communication skills both written andoral.
Strong problem-solving skills and detailoriented.
Self-motivator takes initiative to resolve situations andimprove departmental processes.
Well-developed interpersonal andnegotiating skills, especially in dealing with sensitive and/orcontroversial issues.
