For this senior technical consulting opportunity, we are seeking experts who have experience writing code, possess excellent consulting skills, can consistently delight our customers, and can help us grow a world-class consulting practice.
As a Senior Technology Consultant you will:Design, develop, and implement high quality solutions including architectural system designFacilitate customer discussions to discover key business and technical requirements, and develop implementation plans based on the identified requirementsProvide experienced guidance, feedback, and recommendations to customers based on established best practicesSupport the roll-out, adoption, and scaling of provided solutions for customersHandle customer engagements as a project manager, responsible for scheduling, coordination, communication, and enhancing the customer relationshipAdvise on internal tools and processes as a senior member of the technical teamPromote yourself as a subject matter expert and valued member of the communityAssist with proposal development and statement of work definitionsEngage with potential customers on sales calls as a technical resource, advising on product solutionsMentor the technical consulting team and onboard new team members. Help ensure the entire team uses best practicesEssential skills and experience:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics or related technical disciplinesAt least 3 - 5 years as a technical consultant or systems administrator, combined with a solid background in service design and delivery with some business analysis experienceA successful history in customer engagement and demonstrated exceptional consulting and influencing skills (including at C-level)Proven track record in implementing solutions including installations, upgrades, migrations, workshops, integrations, and trainingExcellent analytical skills with the ability to take a holistic view across a range of domainsDemonstrated expertise in undertaking analysis, evaluation and translation of customer requirements and feeding into solutionsExcellent communication skills, including workshop facilitation, written and verbal communicationExperience with Agile development methodologiesEnjoys mentoring new consultants on technical and soft skills that are part of the consultant's toolkitEssential technical knowledge:Strong knowledge of software products both in terms of application-side and administration of the various platformsKnowledge of scripting languages (e.g. Python, Groovy, Perl, Ruby, Shell Scripting, etc.)Skilled with Unix / Linux command lineExperience with SQLAn understanding of web application architectureFamiliarity with ITIL and ITSM principlesExperienced in UAT testing and test use-case developmentUnderstanding and experience with integration scenarios with tools like CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins and othersHands-on admin-level experience with Atlassian platform products: JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket, Cloud, Crowd, Access, Portfolio, and others is a plus*Only shortlisted candidates will be notified* This position is not eligible for visa assistance/sponsorship or relocation assistance.
