Our strategy is to focus on creating a safe work environment where our employees feel strongly connected to our values and objectives, and where the capability of our people is key to our success.Come and be a part of this success**About the Role**- Requirement to appoint a full time Specialist Quality, who provides support and executes tasks for the quality management and quality assurance, with expertise in, systems, regulations and standards that assure quality in the development and execution of projects.- Main Functions:- Strongly aimed to a safety focus.- Supports implementation of quality standards, processes, systems and plans including quality assurance, quality control and quality improvement for a program of capital projects.- Provides support in quality assurance to those accountable for project deliverables, including third parties service providers.- Contributes with the capture of lessons learnt from projects for incorporation into continuous improvement initiatives.- Support the development of standards, processes, procedures, templates and plans for a project/prograM/Function.- Collaborates on the identification and development of improvement initiatives.- Supports implementation of quality management plan in projects.- Prepare Quality Functional Work Plan.- Support the risk identification related with quality.- Support quality audits for contractors and sub-functions.- Support the management of non-conformities, from their identification to their effective closure.- Analyse the output data of the non-conformity, training and audit process.- Review quality requirements in bidding processes.**About You**- Minimum 3 years' experience in quality area.- Knowledge and experience in projects (development/study, design and construction)- Competent in the use of relevant software such as MS Office.- Experience in work with multidisciplinary teams.- Experience as an internal auditor.- Knowledge of management systems based on ISO9001 and/or Lean/Six Sigma.- Engineering degree.**About Our Process**At BHP, we are committed to employing individuals who align with the BHP Charter Values and meet the requirements of the role.
