**Technical Managers** are leaders in charge of providing guidance and finding solutions to technical problems for a Portfolio within the Organization.** Actively **involved in hiring, promotions, pre-sales activities, role changes, or internal movements that impact the company or their corresponding projects within their portfolio.Technical managers enforce alignment of the practices at HALO across the organization, ensuring the product's appropriate time to the market.**Responsibilities**:**_ Delivery_**- Collaborates directly with Halo Delivery Manager and client stakeholders on engagement strategies, escalated issues, and contract renewals.- Adheres to and champions standards across the organization defined by Practice Managers.- Monitors portfolio project's progress**_ Staffing_**- Collaborates with technical leads & directors to define and implement company-wide technical strategies.- Accountable for engineering staffing efforts and staffing plan implementation across the portfolio.- Identifies and solves staffing gaps.**_ Team_**- Supports Tech Leads in unblocking technical issues and guides architectural decision-making. In case appropriate, delegates tasks to Principal or Distinguished Engineers.- Provides mentorship and performance feedback to Tech Leads- People- Ensures performance feedback is shared and formalized to all engineers within their Portfolio.- Ensures promotions and career paths are followed up and covers any gaps.**_ Pre Sales_**- Represents Halo's interests in business negotiations, provides high-level estimations and staffing plans (ramp-ups and downs) and is actively involved in technical sales.- Understands project financials to maximize revenue and margins in alignment with people's career paths and growth.**Requirements**:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.- Minimum of **5 years** of experience in a technical management role, preferably in a software development environment.- **Strong leadership skills** with the ability to manage and motivate a team of technical professionals.- Excellent** problem-solving skills** with the ability to think creatively and strategically.- Demonstrated experience in the development and implementation of **technical strategies, policies, and procedures**.- Strong understanding of **software development methodologies** and **technical infrastructure.**:- Excellent** English communication skills**, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.**What do we offer?**- 100% **remote **work!- Salary in **USD** paid directly in a US Bank Account!- More than 3 weeks of **Paid Time Off!**:- Collaborative environment!
